Turns out, one the the Shameless kids is following in the footsteps of the troubled character that he plays.
Earlier this week, fans were treated to the Season 8 premiere of Showtime’s hit show, Shameless. As the Inquisitr reported, the Gallaghers were back to their old ways at the start of the season after finding $70,000 worth of meth left by their mother, who died at the end of Season 7. Bad boy Carl Gallagher, played by Ethan Cutkosky, comes home from military school only to go back to his old, bad ways as he begins selling meth.
And just like his character on the show, Ethan Cutkosky has found himself in a bit of trouble with the law in real life. TMZ reports that the 18-year-old actor was arrested in Los Angeles after a police officer saw his orange BMW driving erratically and straddling traffic lines. When the star was pulled over, he was given a series of sobriety tests, which he ultimately failed.
The NY Daily News goes on to report that Cutkosky was arrested and booked following the failed sobriety tests. Though it is still unclear as to what Ethan was under the influence of, TMZ reports that Cutkosky had admitted to smoking marijuana prior to his arrest and officers also reportedly smelled weed in the vehicle at the time he was pulled over.
